With stress levels rising in many companies, employees are trying some new ways to beat stress.

The Times reports that, for many, laughter really is the best medicine, as demonstrated by Tanaz Bamboat – who is qualified in teaching laughter as a yoga technique.

She adds that, even if we do not laugh for a specific reason, the result is still lower stress levels.

In some of her sessions, employees who may have recently lost their jobs are encouraged to laugh at the fact that they have no money.

Ms Bamboat suggests that laughter provides an opportunity to step back from whatever issues the individual is dealing with.

Once this is done, they can begin to look for ways to deal with the problem – and there are no side effects.

Stressed workers looking for something with a little more scientific background have been told that Holosync could be the technology for them.

This weaves sound waves into headphone-based music, helping it to synchronise with the brain’s own patterns, reports the Epoch Times.

As such, a stressed brain can be encouraged to adopt a pattern of thought more usually associated with periods of deep relaxation or sleep.

Patterns typically observed during times of high creativity can also be encouraged, which could be of interest to anyone who feels they need an innovation boost.
