Stressed? Forget about Whack a Penguin Why Not Whack a Banker?

A British amusement arcade manager has come up with a novel way for workers who have become disillusioned during the global financial crisis to vent their anger.

Tim Hunkin, who runs the arcade on Southwold Pier in Suffolk, England, has introduced a new machine called "Whack a Banker" similar to the Penguin Whack.

Based on the traditional whack a penguin game, players are challenged to bash bankers over the head with a mallet as they pop up at random from the game's base.

The machine has proved such a popular stress reliever that Mr Hunkin has already had to replace the mallets several times.

"The bankers are bald and all look the same because that's how I think people see bankers, as faceless," said Mr Hunkin.

Players are charged 40p (65c) to hit as many bankers as they can in 30 seconds.

When anybody wins the game says: "You win. We retire. Thank you very much to the taxpayer for paying our pensions."
